Right to Work

Navigating Right to Work law & compliance

Streamline Right to Work processes and say goodbye to manual identity verification

Adapting to Right to Work laws &
legislation changes

Following recent laws and legislative changes to Right to Work identity screening, UK employers now have the option of performing Right to Work checks remotely using digital identity service providers (IDSPs).

On October 1st 2022, the temporary remote screening measures put in place during the pandemic came to an end. All employers will now need to choose one of the following three ways to verify the identity of your applicants:

A hard copy, manual Right to Work identity check

A digital Right to Work check via an IDSP - this service is open to those with British or Irish passports, or an Irish passport card

A Home Office online Right to Work check - this service is only open to overseas nationals with a biometric residence card or permit

A certified Digital Identity Service Provider
