What You’ll Do (Role Description)

We are looking for an experienced B2B2C product marketer ideally with experience in Banking or Financial Services to build out the product marketing function for our Mobile Deposit products.

This person will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive transactional volume of mobile deposits as well as develop go-to-market strategies for upcoming product lines.  Acting as the enabler of business growth this individual needs to gain alignment with product management and sales and lead go-to-market strategy and execution with cross-functional teams. The right candidate can intuitively articulate customers’ real needs, develop data-driven business cases for action, create compelling narratives for our customers, and can easily pivot from strategy to get-it-done mode.  

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading product marketing strategy and execution for new products, features and monetization strategies for the Mobile Deposit products (line of products)
  • Develop deep market, customer & user insight to deliver against business & marketing goals, which includes developing opportunity assessments and business cases that demonstrate potential product growth and greater mobile deposit penetration 
  • Lead efforts to validate new product and feature concepts through customer interviews, research and analysis of user data 
  • Develop go-to-market strategy including business goals, definition of target/persona, positioning, messaging, and sales narrative 
  • Partner across the field marketing and communications teams to develop innovative assets and messaging to inform campaigns which drive adoption and awareness
  • Responsible for the messaging and content of international web pages
  • Evangelize products internally and externally to drive adoption and engagement

  • Proven track record of successfully taking new products to market 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement thoughtful marketing strategies that effectively position products, resonate with various customer personas, and drive sales
  • Ability to move between strategy and tactical execution and are hands-on across marketing programs in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Comfortable working closely with Product Management to shape product strategy
  • Highly analytical - always eager to use data for continuous improvement, and favor data-informed decision-making
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset

What You Need (Skills/Experience/Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree - business-related field and/or technical discipline is preferred  
  • Master's in Business Administration degree from a top university program is preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in relevant product marketing roles 
  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer insight to drive product positioning
  • Experience sizing and prioritizing market opportunities and building business cases 
  • Ability to position innovative products and tell compelling stories through messaging briefs and marketing collateral 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get-it-done” entrepreneurial environment and adapt to change
  • Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
