What You’ll Do (Role Description)

Mitek is looking for Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our successful sales team. We’re looking for hard-working, competitive and self-motivated individuals who have had previous success in sales development roles and who want to grow their career in our fast-paced sales organization.

Lead generation drives overall sales for Mitek by increasing the volume of qualified opportunities. The Sales Development Representative will qualify inbound leads as well as develop and conduct outreach to targeted lists of companies. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to secure introductory (connect) calls. Upon qualifying the prospect, you will be responsible for scheduling discovery calls for Account Executives. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting into target list of companies via emails, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Respond quickly to inbound sales leads that come from the website, inbound calls, trade shows, webinars and other sources to qualify leads
  • Educate and qualify prospective Mitek customers during connect calls from both inbound and outbound work.
  • Schedule Discovery meetings for Account Executives
  • Develop a level of expertise of Mitek’s ID verification solution, competitive landscape, and how Mitek solves the customer’s business needs
  • Work closely and collaboratively with assigned Account Executives to develop and implement territory plans
  • Meet and exceed lead generation goals and benchmarks
  • Use Salesforce and Outreach

What You Need (Skills/Experience)

  • Previous successful sales prospecting experience OR a strong interest in a selling role
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Self-starter with a keen work ethic.
  • Strong competitive drive and tenacity.
  • This is a true hunter role, must have the ability to make cold calls.
  • Comfortable with a startup environment and flexible to change.
