Product Managment

What You’ll Do (Role Description)

You will be an integral member of Mitek’s Global Product Management organization responsible for managing critical projects that will enable the success and growth of our next-generation products. Primarily, this position will drive complex technology migration activities and end-of-life (EOL) strategies across multiple legacy product lines and across multiple global Mitek teams. This position will also drive product management process and execution activities in partnership with product managers, product owners, and scrum masters.


  • Partner with product development leadership to understand scope of critical projects, business drivers, costs, and execution priorities
  • Devise thoughtful end-of-support and end-of-life plans aligned to business objectives
  • Work closely with product owners to document product gaps and migration considerations
  • Drive external communication, messaging, and training activities in partnership with customer success and professional services teams
  • Document project milestones, keep stakeholders informed, and execute against approved plans and timelines

  • Effective planner with experience devising project plans from scratch
  • Excellent interpersonal communicator with an ability to discuss complex topics at all levels of technical understanding - executives, peers, customers, and partners
  • Action-oriented, hands-on and works well with cross-functional teams across globally dispersed offices
  • Very organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, while adapting to changing demands 
  • Cool and calm under pressure while executing on plans 
  • A high integrity individual that leverages empathy, honesty, and reliability to build a strong internal brand to get stuff done

What You Need (Skills/Experience/Abilities)

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing customer-facing projects, preferably for software migration/upgrade, within fast-paced technology companies
  • Proven understanding of project management principles and balancing time, scope, and cost
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs and translate into software requirements
  • Basic understanding of cloud and mobile technologies for software-as-a-service businesses
  • Ability to review technical API documentation is preferred
  • A powerful work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Superb attention to detail, strong note taking abilities, and multitasking
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
